SYMPOSIUM
2024
As it celebrates its tenth year, the X Edition of the Symposium on Urban Mobility Challenges will address key questions: How do we evaluate progress in innovation, and how do we measure its true impact? For CARNET, founded a decade ago, these questions are central after years of innovative projects and significant contributions to urban mobility.
The symposium will begin by exploring the fundamental drivers of innovation, drawing from CARNET's own journey over the past decade. It will then shift focus to the real-world adoption of new technologies, emphasizing the need for practical application to ensure that innovations deliver real value. Finally, attention will turn to methods for measuring and evaluating the impact of these innovations, with a commitment to improving quality of life, a guiding principle for all technological development.
By bringing together experts, researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers, the symposium offers a platform to reflect on the progress made, address ongoing challenges, and assess the societal impacts of urban mobility advancements. This comprehensive perspective will help ensure that innovation is nurtured, adopted, and measured to drive meaningful improvements in transportation and mobility.
