Ready2Scale II – The 15 Start-ups from the ScaleTHENGlobal Programme Participate in the ITS World Congress

As part of the ScaleTHENGlobal programme, a programme financed by the EIT Urban Mobility and led by CARNET, the 15 participating start-ups from this edition will have the chance to participate in the Ready2Scale II event, which will be part of the ITS World Congress, taking place in Hamburg from 11 to 15 October. This activity, organized by Digital Hub Logistics Hamburg, will give the chance to these growing companies to present their business idea in front of an audience of experts, potential investors, and future customers.

On 12 October, at 17:00 CET, following an inspiring keynote speech from Peter Vest, Business Creation Manager at EIT Urban Mobility, all startups will have a few minutes to present their pitch and will then have to face the critical questions of a selected jury of experts:

  • Doreen Brodersen, Director Business Unit New Business at FUNKE Logistik
  • Ulrich Balke, Sales Direktor at KPMG Germany

This event will shine a light on the future of mobility and how it will revolutionize our urban areas thanks to the startups’ business ideas. Additionally, the startups will have the chance to experience networking opportunities that will potentially facilitate their growth capabilities, as the congress also offers an extensive start-up programme they can benefit from.

The ITS World Congress will showcase the newest trends in smart mobility solutions and logistics alongside national and international partners during the week of 11–15 October 2021. Visitors from around the world will benefit from the top-quality programme of the Congress, ranging from moderated tours to the top ITS projects in Hamburg to live presentations, a high-level programme with distinguished speakers, technical sessions, and workshops. The goal of the World Congress is to make innovative mobility concepts liveable and to provide a glimpse of the future of ITS.

ScaleTHENGlobal is financed by EIT Urban Mobility and is a programme led by CARNET (initiative coordinated by CIT UPC), with the collaboration of PowerHub, Fraunhofer Society for the Advancement of Applied Research, UnternehmerTUM, Technische Universität Braunschweig, Niedersächsisches Forschungszentrum Fahrzeugtechnik (NFF), Digital Hub Logistics Hamburg and the City of Hamburg, with the support of Xpreneurs, UnternehmerTUM Digital Hub Mobility and SpinLab.
