Project Purpose and Description
SoH Fleet aims to develop an innovative tool capable of estimating the State of Health (SoH) of the batteries to overcome challenges related to the management of electric bus fleets in public transport. Two pilot cases in the cities of Lisbon and Barcelona will be carried out during 2025 with two different use cases on public transport fleets.
Motivation
The proposed solution aims to break down the technological and operational barriers to the electrification of bus fleets using relevant data coming from sensors and specific AI algorithms to accurately estimate the real SoH. This project will foster the electrification of road public transport and improve quality of life in cities by reducing noise and pollution and contribute to reduce GHGs of the urban mobility sector.
