Project Purpose and Description
The project will develop a practical course to qualify professionals with the technical knowledge needed to implement Low-Emission Zones (LEZs) in municipalities across Spain and Portugal. It will additionally monitor the implementation of LEZs in the municipalities through online forms that will be filled in by city professionals to follow the procedure and see graphically the implementation of LEZs, and create the “LEZ City Twin partners” network.
Motivation
The overall goal is to create a skilled workforce, implement effective monitoring, and encourage collaboration to reduce emissions and promote environmental sustainability in the region.
Through a practical course and online monitoring forms, the initiative promotes transparency and real-time tracking of LEZ implementation.
