Project purpose and Description
“Women in Urban Mobility (WUM)” aims to create a unique network of urban mobility professionals across Europe focusing on female empowerment and raising awareness about gender equality in the urban mobility sector. Starting in 2021, a European network will be established, that leverages local activities with a sustainable and scalable model to grow exponentially. WUM will provide value to their participants through training workshops and networking events which can easily be scaled to other European cities. In order to foster collaborations and visibility, news from the network and stories of women in urban mobility from the local hubs as well as a selection of events for women will be shared via a regular newsletter and the partners’ different communication channels.
Objectives and Outcomes
- Create a network of women focused on urban mobility from different fields (academia, industry, public administration).
- Give visibility to the role of women in Urban Mobility.
