Project purpose and Description
The Urban Mobility Operating System (UMOS) – Now MobilitEU – initiative aims to deliver a pan-European solution to host Mobility as a Service (MaaS) in a smooth and reliable way. UMOS will be an open, collaborative GDPR-compliant and interoperable solution for all partners in the mobility domain. It will allow easy data exchange, lifting barriers between ecosystems and providing more transportation options to all travellers.
Objectives and Outcomes
The project has achieved the development of the platform and has partnered with a variety of cities: Eindhoven, Helmond, Warsaw, Barcelona, Antwerp, etc. The aim for 2022 is to pilot mobility services from a variety of operators in different countries through the platform.
