Project purpose and Description

The objective of MOBY was the development of an implementation guideline through a generic information tool for the successful integration of e-micromobility solutions into the existing mobility systems of three pilot cities: Copenhagen, Munich and Tel Aviv. This tool was used to support public stakeholders as well as e-micromobility providers to maximise the potential positive impacts of new e-micromobile services, contributing to liveable urban spaces and clean, safe, fast, and accessible urban mobility. It is an open tool that is highly customisable, in order to be applicable to all European cities.

Objectives and Outcomes

The project created several tangible results.
Firstly, a guideline and a roadmap for successfully integrating e-micromobiles into the existing mobility infrastructure of the pilot cities and thereby providing promising new research and innovation for the long-term transformation of cities into more liveable urban spaces.
Secondly, it provided insights and results from the pilot cities/living labs in order to help other interested cities in building up e-micromobile fleets for new pilot sites and living labs.
Thirdly, the governance handbook for planning and implementing e-micromobile fleets, and the developed generic tool will help municipalities, service providers and other interested partners outside of the consortium in dealing with the expected increasing number of e-micromobiles.
