Project purpose and Description
FOLLOW is a project that tests a route planner for walking routes for people on wheelchairs and the elderly in the cities of Eindhoven (will change) and Brest. The route planner will provide safe and accessible routes. The project’s purpose is to benefit vulnerable citizens and to close the knowledge gap on this specific kind of active mobility.
Objectives and Outcomes
Outcomes: Cities use case description, data for the accessible walking route planner adaptation, accessible walking route planner technical specifications, and walking mobility data.
Deliverables: Accessible walking route planner technical plan, accessible walking route planner tool product plan, commercialisation agreement, demonstration report, and final report.
