Molière’s Participation at the New Space Economy Congress and Project Wrap Up

The Molière project, supported by EUSPA, successfully concluded its three-year journey, marking a pivotal moment during the final consortium meeting held at the New Space Economy Congress 2023 in Barcelona.

Against the backdrop of the congress, Molière showcased its advancements within the evolving space landscape at its dedicated booth. Notably, Molière participated in the Space Talks, underscoring its contributions to the industry.

A key highlight was Molière’s involvement in the round table discussion titled “Space for Smart, Connected Regions.” This event emphasized the project’s core objective of leveraging Galileo, the European GNSS, to drive innovation in mobility services. Molière highlighted its vision of utilizing Galileo’s precision and reliability to acquire geopositioning data, revolutionizing mobility services and contributing to developing intelligent, interconnected regions.

One of the conclusions is that the successful implementation of smart and connected regions relies on advanced satellite technology, characterized by precision and reliability—qualities inherent in Galileo. This technological framework empowers operators to extend mobility services to remote areas where connectivity may traditionally pose challenges. The integration of precise geopositioning data enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of services, catering to the needs of diverse and often underserved communities.

Throughout its development, Molière exemplified collaborative excellence, uniting diverse partners to pursue a shared mission. This proves that public-private collaborations are crucial catalysts for impactful advancements in future mobility. This collective effort has yielded groundbreaking achievements, transcending conventional boundaries and fostering advancements in the space-based mobility data marketplace (MDM), a key outcome of the project.

As Molière approaches its conclusion, its role within the industry and the results it has generated will serve as a catalyser for new collaborative projects. Beyond its temporal scope, the project leaves an enduring impact on the trajectory of mobility innovation. The effects of Molière’s contributions will continue to shape the narrative of a dynamic and interconnected mobility ecosystem.
