PROJECT MANAGER FOR MOBILITY PROJECTS

Incorporation with full dedication (37.5h / week) 

Type of contract: A contract for a specific project or service.

Work position: Barcelona. EU Travel: Between 10% and 15% of the time.

Integration in a dynamic and highly motivated team, result oriented.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Project management, execution and monitoring, according to a pre-defined work program.
  • Project progress reporting to executive committee.
  • Identify new opportunities for collaboration with European partners.

 

Education:

  • Engineering Degree. MS preferably in Engineering, business, management.

 

Experience:

  • Proven experience will be valuated positively.

 

General Skills

  • Must be able to assume responsibility, demonstrate sound judgment and professional poise.
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and time management skills.

 

Specific Tasks:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the execution of projects.
  • Ensure that deadlines and milestones are met within the predefined project schedule. Ensure project delivery on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • In some specific cases, coordination of different European project members. 
  • Develop a detailed project plan with several KPIs to monitor and track progress and report to management.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with other project members and all stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Meet budgetary objectives.

 

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Mobility knowledge will be valuated positively.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Ability to work together with project partners from different institutions and backgrounds.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail.

RESEARCH ASSISTANT AT CARNET

Research assistant at CARNET 

Type of contract: A contract for a specific project or service.

Work position: Barcelona.

Integration in a dynamic and highly motivated team, result oriented.

  • Support in mobility research projects.
  • Give support to ensure that planned EU projects are successful and cost-effective done, paying attention to budget and time constraints.
  • Identify new opportunities for collaboration with European partners.

 

Education:

  • Engineering, Mathematics, Urban Planning.

 

 Experience:

  • Proven experience will be valuated positively.

 

General Skills

  • Must be able to assume responsibility, demonstrate sound judgment and professional poise.

ARCHITECT FOR INNOVATION PROJECTS

Initial contract: 6 months. Incorporation with part dedication (20h / week)

Work position: Barcelona. EU Travel: Between 5% and 10% of the time.

Integration in a dynamic and highly motivated team, result oriented.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Project management, execution and monitoring, according to a pre-defined work program.
  • Execution of projects related to urban planning with a strong focus on mobility.
  • Execution of projects related to public space / public realm.
  • Execution of projects related to citizen engagement.
  • Project progress reporting to executive committee.
  • Identify new opportunities for collaboration with European partners.

 

 

Education:

  • Architecture Degree. MS or equivalent, preferably in urban planning, social sciences, or urban design.
  • PhD in urban planning or architecture

 

 Experience:

  • Public space and urban planning and design experience will be valuated positively.
  • Social and spatial research will be valuated positively.
  • Citizen engagement performance will be valuated positively.
  • Research experience will be valuated positively.

 

General Skills

  • Must be able to assume responsibility, demonstrate sound judgment and professional poise.

Specific Tasks:

  • Research on public realm and urban mobility through a planning perspective.
  • Applicate impact analysis methods.
  • Elaborate surveys, interviews and forms (social sciences).
  • Elaborate graphic documentation.
