CARNET at Metropolis:lab

The aim of this centre is to analyse and seek intelligent solutions to challenges facing mobility in the future, and contribute to the positioning of SEAT as a leading reference for the connected car.
Metropolis:Lab was one of the partners in the Hackathon held last March. With its headquarters at Pier 01 Barcelona Tech City in Palau de Mar, Metropolis:lab welcomed the three winning teams of the Hackathon to its facilities.

Students could see what kind of activity takes place at the centre, and perceive that the industry mobility sector is changing. Metropolis:lab’s principal areas of activity include the development of solutions for predictive navigation, traffic management and applications.

The visit organized by CARNET also allowed the Hackathon winners to present their projects in front of some members of the Metropolis :Lab, including its office manager, Jose Nascimiento.
