CARNET Keeps Empowering Startups in Urban Mobility
CARNET remains at the forefront of boosting innovation in urban mobility through its support to startups. As a key player in the startup ecosystem for the past years, CARNET’s dedicated team to emerging companies will continue to provide services to startups and scale-ups by encouraging their participation in acceleration programmes where CARNET acts as a partner and through the scouting activities developed, which allow them to connect with our industrial partners and seek new collaboration opportunities.
Call Opening for Two Accelerator Programmes in 2024
On February 1, 2024, CARNET officially opens the call for two accelerator programmes, inviting European startups and scale-ups to showcase their groundbreaking technological solutions in urban mobility and urban air mobility. This presents a unique opportunity for emerging companies to amplify their impact in these critical areas.
Scale-up Programme 2024
The Scale-Up Programme 2024 is an initiative designed to accelerate the growth of startups focusing on various aspects of urban mobility. The new edition will welcome 12 start-ups from across Europe and EU-associated countries, providing their teams visibility through networking events, and participation at international events like Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress 2024, access to investors, and tailored coaching and mentoring. Led by CARNET in collaboration with partners like PowerHUB, UnternehmerTUM, and Fraunhofer Society, the Scale-Up Programme receives support and funding from EIT Urban Mobility.

UAM Plazza Accelerator Programme 2024
The UAM Plazza Accelerator 2024 is a programmed designed to accelerate the growth of startups in the realm of urban air mobility, connecting participants with other stakeholders from within the European UAM ecosystem. Beyond this, startups receive invitations to the Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress 2024, diverse workshops on business development, fundraising, regulation, and social acceptance, as well as potential recommendations for investment from EIT Urban Mobility’s Impact Ventures division. For 2024, the programme strategically focuses on the transport of medical goods, surveillance and safety, and ground-enabling infrastructures. Co-funded by EIT Urban Mobility and developed in collaboration with Toulouse Métropole, Aerospace Valley, and CARNET.
