Catalonia joins CARNET

We would like to welcome the Automotive Industry Cluster of Catalonia (CIAC) as a new industrial member of CARNET. CIAC is a platform formed on 30 April 2013 to promote cooperation and cohesion between Catalan automotive companies. Its aim is to increase the competitiveness of the automotive industry by promoting projects that can generate employment and boost the automotive industry. SEAT, NISSAN, GESTAMP, FICOSA and DOGA are all founding members and promoters of the cluster, which now has 180 members. CIAC aspires to represent almost 500 companies that, directly or indirectly, work in the automotive sector in Catalonia. This new member will help us to strengthen the CARNET project, expand its area of work and cooperation and promote innovation in the field of urban mobility.
